Celebrate a Milestone with Us
It was almost ten years ago when we made a promise to cherish each other on stage at The Orpheum in Vancouver, BC. Since that moment, we’ve journeyed through immeasurable highs and strengthened each other through challenging lows. We added two kids to our family, moved cities, changed employment and through it all, did it hand in hand. Life happened quickly in the past decade and we were blessed to have made memories alongside you, our beloved family and friends, old and new. As we continue to write the next chapter of our lives, we invite you to witness the renewal of our vows in Tokyo, Japan.
What’s a Vow Renewal?
A moment to reaffirm our commitment to each other, we will have a simple vow renewal ceremony to mark our 10 year anniversary. More intimate and more casual than our wedding, the event will involve a short ceremony, refreshments and a light lunch. We are happy for the opportunity to involve Skye and Khai, too. A note on gifts: your presence across the ocean means the world to us. Gifts are not necessary nor expected. We are excited to see you!
and Why Japan?
On our honeymoon in 2016, we visited Tokyo and it fast became one of our favourite places in the world. As we strolled back to our hotel one twilight evening, among twinkling lights and the beautiful rainbow bridge in the background, we made a resolution to come back and renew our vows here.
